I smell the grass beneath my feet, And the staff within my hands. The grass smells of trampling feet, The staff speaks of war to my hands. The thunderous roar of battle I taste. Coming, so swiftly toward me, People with their foam battle swords, Yelling a faint scent of pure joy. I wish I were a mutant To have powers you wouldn't believe To meet the people I dream of, And help them save the world. To meet the girl who walk through walls, The man who teleports, The man who can read your mind, The lady who controls the storms. What would my power be? I've thought about this for a while If I were an X-men I would control the plants. They'd find me in the winter, Where every time I stepped Upon the cold frozen ground Flowers would grow. Learning to deal

Even though this will be tough for me, I've decided to fight back and show the world I can do it. The reason I started writing was for my enjoyment and only mine, not what the world thought. Yes, it is true I would like to be an author one day but sitting here and doing nothing isn't helping. As a wise person told me once, no one's work is perfect until it looks like it has been bleed upon. So from this day forth I do not care what the world things about my writing, I will listen to those who help me and ignore those who try to put me down. My writing is full of my emtions, you have to read between the lines instead of just reading the words.

The world is spinning just a little to quickly

Have you ever thought that life is speeding by just a little to quickly? i mean it seems like just a second ago, I was a frighten little freshman entering into a world of unknown, but now I'm half way through my junior year and my parents want to take me to look at colleges over the summer. All i want right now, is not to be looking towards my future, but to pause and be able to savor all that life is giving me, high school is suppose to be the best years of your life, right?
