I smell the grass beneath my feet,
And the staff within my hands.
The grass smells of trampling feet,
The staff speaks of war to my hands.
The thunderous roar of battle I taste.
Coming, so swiftly toward me,
People with their foam battle swords,
Yelling a faint scent of pure joy.
My whole childhood was spent on these fields,
It whispers tastes of glory,
I smell the phrase "FIRE!"
As ten arrows shoot form the fort.
I want what they have in Disney films
I want love like a Disney film
With candlelit dinners out under the stars
And the stars twinkle in my eyes.
We dance in a ballroom for the first time,
Where the sun never seems to rise.
Cold winter nights by a crackling fire,
End with the fight of my life
But even after it is still night
Why must my nights always end with first light.
I want to sit in a boat in a field of lanterns,
And give a thief his satchel with hope
But he won't run 'cause he's changed his mind,
Why doesn't this happen in real life?
But one common theme
In all of these dreams
Is that the sun is never out
That must be
What do I want you ask?
How simple a task,
I want to go out.
To go to get all dolled up
In my sweatshirt and jeans,
And sit round a table in two distinct teams.
Us and them, and battle it out
To shoot things at people, to RP, and shout
What do I want?
Well you really must know,
It‟s Saturday night an I've got somewhere to go
I want to be 2'11"
I want to fight fear itself,
I want glory and treasure,
And excitement on the way.
I want Keith to deliver my pizza,
And to track him on the dominoes tracker
I want to wake up from unconsciousness
After being eaten by a frog,
To say "cut out that damn thing's tongue!"
It's all
Magnata Mushi Had!
All my sims say,
That's because
They greet that way.
Manana Woofi!
The yell and shout
That's because
Someone blew the candles out.
Goobi nooda,
They use a goofy voice,
That's because,
Their dog made the right choice.
Wampada choo choo!
They yell angrily,
That's because,
They're watching sports diligently.
I like sims,
They speak so strange
And that I hope,
Will never change.
I wish I were a mutant
To have powers you wouldn't believe
To meet the people I dream of,
And help them save the world.
To meet the girl who walk through walls,
The man who teleports,
The man who can read your mind,
The lady who controls the storms.
What would my power be?
I've thought about this for a while
If I were an X-men
I would control the plants.
They'd find me in the winter,
Where every time I stepped
Upon the cold frozen ground
Flowers would grow.
Of course I wouldn't notice
Not until they found me,
Then I'd go to New York,
And help them change the world.

Literature
If I Should Have a Daughter
If I should have a daughter,
The first thing she'll no is that there is no such thing as a wrong answer.
She'll know how to fight
Not because violence is acceptable
But because once you posses the power you can gain the self-restraint
And knowing you can is so much better than doing.
She'll love all of the world,
From the smallest fly to the biggest sequoia,
Because like Disney's Pocahontas said, everything has a spirit and a name.
She'll respect the world,
but not so much that she would be afraid to challenge it,
because challenging what you know, reminds you how much the familiar feel s like home.
Because stepping out of your b
